Lost Souls

Scarlett seemed surprised for a moment, then smiled again. "That's better than I expected. Especially you, Kanhel. That's better than most get their first time... Now it just takes practice! Soon you will be able to learn anything you want about a target at will."

She nodded and pointed out another creature, this one was the same kind that lurked near the treeline on the Zweiluna side.
"Now focus your energy on your target and speak the words confidently."
The creature turned its head toward them and stared, though it didn't move toward them yet.

AND THEN SANTA SHOWED UP!!! "Merry Christmas brave warriors!"

Scarlet and the elderly woman nodded. "We can supply you with all you need for your travels. While we get such things together, Scarlet can show you both the spell you requested"
Scarlet smiled and stood up. "Alright, come outside with me, and we can get started." She said as she headed for the exit. Her brother would follow, but Emerald stayed behind with the elders.

The two elders eyes widened a bit at the sight.
"So it is dead?" Asked the old man in shock.
The old woman wore a big smile. "Did you expect anything less from our granddaughter?" She replied with a laugh. She then directed her gaze onto the two travelers. "Well done, kids! We simply must reward you for your hand in this. This beast has plagued us for quite some time... But first tell us, what brought you to those woods in the first place? I assume you come from either Zweiluna to the west or Albali to the south. Little reason for the risk unless you have a purpose."

As they walked, Scarlet and the dark haired man talked to eachother and the blond lead the way. With a wandering eye, they would see that this village was not as lively as Zweiluna, and was a bit smaller. The light above was noticeably weaker than that provided by the dual moons. After making it a ways into the village, Scarlet finally paid attention to the two travelers.
"I always forget this sort of thing." She said apologetically, now walking backward to face them. "Kornell, Kanhel, this is my brother Azure (The black haired boy waves and gives a smile) and my cousin Emerald. (The blond gave a half hearted wave without turning any attention from their destination)." She turned back to them. "Guys, these are the traveling heroes who helped me kill that bastard serpent."
"Coulda figured that one out..."
"I guess we owe you both a great deal then." Azure said with a smile.

(Tis fine Glad to see this isnt simply dead. And happy late thanksgiving. Hope you guys had good ones)

The path was straight and didn't take long. Soon they came out to an open field similar to the one they entered from, complete with the same creatures as before. In the clearing, one could see that the light had changed. It had taken a dark blue hue, noticeably different from the purple light of Zweiluna. This light came from a small star-like orb in the sky above a somewhat large walled in village. If one looked into the distance beyond, to the left is a mountain range stretching back to an unknown point behind the forest, and ahead much past this new town, into the horizon. Ahead past the village also seems to be a flowing river that starts from a waterfall on the mountain.

Coming upon the village walls, the party is greeted by two young men standing guard over this sides entrance. One is platinum blond*, the other has black hair**.
"What brings yo-- SCARLET!!!" The dark haired man yells, cutting himself off as he takes the petit women in his arms. "I am so glad you are back! The whole village has been worried about you! They all thought you went off to fight that monster!"
Scarlet laughs and pats the mans head, prompting him to release her. "Well actually..." She said with a smirk before glancing at Kanhel, wanting him to show off their trophy.
